What started as a little lockdown project between two friends has grown into a collection of prints inspired by the things we love, design, transport with a bit of military history.

I create detailed vector illustrations of predominantly trains and planes, but also other vehicles, landmarks and ships.

Our Etsy shop, First Class Prints, is where the collection comes to life. We now have thousands of sales and hundreds of designs available, with new ideas continually being added. From a single print of a favourite locomotive to larger collections of trains or aircraft, there’s something for casual fans, dedicated enthusiasts and anyone looking for something a little different for their home.

Although many of our designs are made with enthusiasts in mind, you don’t have to know your Class 37 from your Class 50 to enjoy them. We try to create artwork that works just as well as a colourful piece of wall art as it does as part of a collection.

Our railway range is particularly varied, from famous steam locomotives such as Flying Scotsman and Mallard to the InterCity 125 and a huge selection of British Rail and modern railway liveries. Alongside the trains, there’s a growing collection of aviation artwork, including WWII aircraft, British Airways and modern commercial and military aircraft.

We have done the occasional stall at some local events so it is always a fun idea to have something bespoke to the location/event. These prints always seem to go down well and the response from customers has been a huge part of the journey. Seeing our prints hanging in people’s homes, being given as presents what makes all the time spent designing them worthwhile.
